Job Description | • Overall manage the OSC department including the KPIs and sales target for the whole department
• To be responsible for strategic planning in relation to the business and support services of the OSC Department including all financial implications, and ensuring that the function uses its resources effectively and efficiently at all times. • Create and deliver a shared corporate strategic vision; build capacity across the workforce; improve organisation structures and functions; build and sustain effective relationships and communications strategies Finance and Business • To implement the financial decisions of the department • To advise the CEO for the development of a long term financial strategy for the future development of the school. • To maximise income generation within the ethos of the department • To use financial management information, especially benchmarking tools, to identify areas of relative spend, assess trends • Monitor and control income and expenditure in relation to the budget. • To provide leadership and guidance for support staff, including direct line management responsibility for team leaders in finance, premises and administration. • To be responsible for the recruitment, induction, training and professional development of all staff. • To be responsible for the Performance Management of all staff. Human Resources Management • To provide leadership and guidance for administrative and site staff, including direct line management responsibility where appropriate. • Ensuring all processes and systems are legal, compliant with internal policies and best practice, and are efficiently undertaken • Ensure the workforce census is completed Organisation • Be responsible for the planning, development, design, organisation and monitoring of services and whole OSC systems/procedures/policies. • Provide organisational and advisory support to CEO, attending and leading meetings as appropriate. • Lead a team of support staff team leaders to ensure effective communication and development of systems and procedures across support services. |
