Job Description | Role background
At AstraZeneca, our IT organization is pushing the boundaries of technology to enable the digitization and transformation of the business. In Commercial IT, we have been given the mandate to own and deliver digital, so the role is a Digital Innovation role more than an IT. We are passionate about smoothing the Patient and HCP journey through DigitalInnovation and supporting the growth of the business through impactful launches, field efficiency and digital/multi-channel capabilities – all founded on deep partnerships with our business colleagues. AstraZeneca already have a broad pallet of digital capabilities for customer engagement, and this role will be essential in the execution and success of digital campaigns embedded in the brand plans. Typical Accountabilities • Collaborate with the Head of IT and Brand Managers to build the brand digital strategies and support their execution. • Modernize the generation of content and the development of digital assets according to standard methodologies, internally or in collaboration with vendors • Coordinate with Brand Managers and approved vendors for creation and promotion of webcast / webinars, and ensure the distribution of its recording • Contribute to the proactive identification of opportunities/partnerships for innovative solutions to Patient, HCP and internal customer issues/challenges, support their deployment and adoption • Deliver and communicate Digital analytics and insights to brand teams • Investigate the digital behavior of HCPs and patients, study internal Marketing and Medical materials to develop a deep understanding of our customers unmet needs, our treatments and business objectives • Establish efficient processes and educational resources to empower Brand Teams to adopt Digital as a second nature, focusing on customer experience, channelmix, digital technologies and analytics Education, Qualifications, Skills and Experience |

Essential
• Comes from a Digital Marketing Background and understand business challenges
and how digital can help overcome them
• Proficient in content marketing and copywriting
• Experienced in web design, UX and code is a big plus
• Entrepreneur mindset with excellent business awareness and understanding
• Understanding of marketing principles and how to apply these to digital channels
(omnichannel).
• Excellent team-working skills (especially in a culturally diverse, demanding
environment) and a willingness to get alongside issues, provide clear direction and
drive results
• Deep experience of understanding (external) customer journeys and designing
new customer experiences.
• Detailed knowledge of current web technologies, analytics platforms and content
management systems
• Comfortable expressing himself/herself in English
• Consistent track record of delivering Digital solutions with clear outcome metrics• Strong communication and influencing skills
• Strong organizational change
Desirable
• Experience of Pharmaceutical or Consumer products Sales representative
efficiency standard methodology is a plus
• Ability to develop and create compelling cases to promote new technologies and
outcomes to the business
• Experience of developing partnerships with the digital and startup ecosystems
• Experience of leadership in a sophisticated/geographical context
