About the course:
The course distinguishes between the different types of problems generally found in the workplace and introduces appropriate problem solving methodologies. It then focuses on the simple, structured RCA Rt approach that consists of a three-stage process:
‘Focus’, ‘Find Causes’, ‘Fix Forever’.
Participants learn the principles of process analysis and how to gather and evaluate the information and data necessary for analysis. We show what data to collect, how to maximize information by selecting the right variables and how much data is needed to establish problem status. We also show how to use practical, “visual tools” to find patterns, trends and linkages and how to look for causal relationships.
Participants learn how to develop a cause tree that effectively reflects the common reality of the problem, based on the available information. They are then provided with a structured approach for analysis of the situation and for finding creative and constructive solutions. Hands-on workshops with real problems are used throughout the 2-day course to develop 2 the necessary skills at various stages of the course.
