JOB INFORMATION
Job Title       Supply Chain Manager

Job Description       1. General
• Manage and take full ownership of the local supply chain function.
• Implement, execute, and monitor the company's Global Supply Chain Policy, the associated guidelines, procedures, and instructions.
• Prepare and submit an annual supply chain risk analysis and action plan to the Regional Supply Chain Manager by January each year and ensure execution throughout the year.
• Ensure full adherence to company’s Risk & Control framework across all supply chain activities.

2. Local Operations
• Oversee and continuously improve all logistics activities, including warehousing, transportation (road, air, and sea freight), and value-added services.
• Ensure compliance with all local regulatory requirements related to warehousing and transportation.
• Ensure warehouse operations consistently meet business, quality, and safety standards.
• Document, maintain, and optimize all logistics processes.
• Act as key user for MRP and inventory management systems, ensuring optimal stock control.
• Analyze shipping patterns (frequency, mode, destination, and cost) to identify inefficiencies and implement improvements.
• Support Business Units with logistics input for new projects and customer onboarding.
• Represent Supply Chain in local management meetings, providing insights on costs, performance, and key developments.

3. Third-Party Logistics (3PL) Management
• Ensure all 3PL providers maintain required licenses and regulatory compliance.
• Define and manage Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), including regular performance reviews and audits.
• Lead annual rate negotiations in alignment with performance and business requirements.
• Monitor cost development and ensure transparency in 3PL-related expenditures.
• Develop and maintain contingency and business continuity plans for warehousing and transportation.
• Ensure alignment of all contractual changes and renewals with the Regional Supply Chain Manager.

4. IT & Digitalization
• Manage freight rate data within JDE and approve new stock locations.
• Ensure accurate and timely NCR management in Salesforce.
• Oversee EDI interfaces with external logistics providers.
• Maintain accurate documentation of QBRs, contracts, and agreements in document management systems.
• Drive local adoption of digital tools and enhancements, including user training and change management.

5. Communication & Stakeholder Management
• Act as the primary point of contact for:
o Internal Business Units regarding supply chain matters.
o External 3PL providers supporting the local entity.
o Intercompany supply chain coordination with other company entities.
• Participate in the annual Regional Supply Chain Task Force.
• Maintain proactive and structured communication with the Regional Supply Chain Manager.

6. Sustainable Procurement
• Lead local implementation of company’s Sustainable Procurement Policy.
• Ensure all 3PL providers sign and adhere to ESG standards for business partners.
• Drive EcoVadis supplier assessments for downstream partners.
• Initiate and support CO₂ reduction and sustainability improvement initiatives.

7. Warehouse & Freight Operations (where applicable)
• Ensure compliance with ISO standards (ISO 9001 or equivalent) in line with group requirements.
• Ensure all required permits, licenses, and regulatory approvals are in place and up to date.
• Develop, implement, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all warehouse and logistics activities.
• Ensure full compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental requirements, including appropriate PPE usage.
• Collaborate closely with HSEQR to:
o Train personnel in hazardous goods handling (SDS).
o Maintain equipment registration and compliance.
o Conduct emergency response training and annual drills.
o Ensure SOPs are updated for new products, risks, or regulatory changes.

8. Projects & Continuous Improvement
• Lead supply chain setup for new business opportunities and market entries.
• Manage transitions and due diligence when changing 3PL providers.
• Identify, lead, and implement continuous improvement initiatives across internal operations and external logistics networks.

Any other ad-hoc tasks as assigned.

PERSON REQUIREMENT

• Bachelor/master’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics or a related field.
• Experience in Chemical, Pharma, Specialty ingredient as a big plus
• Has prior experience in customer clearance and managing 3PL.
• Excellent knowledge of local logistic market.
• Proficiency in supply chain management software, ERP tools.
• Knowledgeable in import & export (Incoterms, Invoice and Packing List).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Excellent in Leadership and team development.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously; handles competing priorities and pressures well.
• Results-oriented. Self-motivated. Takes initiative with a "can do" attitude.
